If you need any further information please contact me, Thanks Sarah From: Georgie Williams [mailto:firstname.lastname@example.org] Sent: Wednesday, 28 May 2014 11:07 AM To: Sarah Jones; email@example.com Subject: FW: DA 450/2014 Hi Sarah, In regards to the above-mentioned DA at 37 Lake View Road, Kilaben Bay, the applicant, Adam Piper, has sought clarification regarding the APZ issue. He has stated the following: “I understand that the APZ would have been established prior to the registration of the subdivision. The owner would therefore only be maintaining the understorey in perpetuity through DP provisions and tree removal would have been undertaken through the subdivision process”. I interpret this as no additional tree removal as part of the current DA. Are you happy with this response? Prior to preparing the information as requested, we are looking to clarify two aspects of the request. We are seeking clarification around the request for an Aboriginal Heritage Impact Assessment. We assumed the issue was considered during the subdivision process, which (holistically) applied the development envelope and facilitated future residential development. Could Council clarify why analysis would have to be replicated through this application (noting the applicant is developing the site for its intended purpose)? It is likely that any study undertaken would result in the application of generic conditions of consent, which could be applied through this DA and most likely would have been applied to the subdivision approval. I have also been asked to clarify the APZ matter. I understand that the APZ would have been established prior to the registration of the subdivision. The owner would therefore only be maintaining the understorey in perpetuity through DP provisions and tree removal would have been undertaken through the subdivision process. The owner is organising the septic application asap.
